Assoc. Prof. Dr. Barış Özçelik completed his undergraduate education at the Faculty of Law, Ankara University, where he also obtained his master’s and doctoral degrees. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses at the Faculty of Law, Bilkent University.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özçelik serves as a member of the Legal and Ethical Working Group for the National Artificial Intelligence Strategy and acts as an expert for the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence (GPAI). He is also a member of the Law and Human Rights Commission at the Artificial Intelligence Policies Association (AIPA).
