Dr. Lale Şıvgın Dündar
Strategic Communication Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye
After graduating from Bilkent University’s Department of Communication and Design, she completed her master’s degree in International Relations at Galatasaray University. She also completed the “Leadership in the 21st Century” program at Harvard University and earned her Ph.D. degree at Ankara University.
She has held roles as a producer, editor, reporter, presenter, and manager at various television channels. Her news articles, interviews, serials, and opinion pieces have been published in various newspapers and magazines.
She provided communication consultancy to international organizations such as the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), the European Union Delegation to Türkiye, and the United Nations. She served as a communication expert in numerous international projects. Between 2010 and 2021, she worked as an assistant professor in the Department of Radio, Television, and Cinema at Başkent University’s Faculty of Communication. She taught undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses and supervised theses. She has national and international conference papers, articles, and book chapters in the field of communication and media. Since 2021, she has been serving as the Strategic Communication Officer at the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye.
